Finding Work in New Zealand

Work permits are harder to obtain than in Australia but it is possible to get one for casual work if you write to the nearest Immigration Service when in the country. However, this can be costly and tiresome. An easier way is to obtain a tax number (this can be done by going to the nearest Inland Revenue Department and asking for one) and showing this to potential employers.
