Wedding Shoes
No matter how much you may be tempted by some glamorous designer shoes with killer heels, listen to me (the old trout who is so boringly sensible). On your wedding day you will be on your feet for many hours. Don't spoil that by attempting to squeeze your feet into stylish shoes that offer little support and will have you on your knees by the first dance with your new hubby.
Let's face it, if you wear a floor-length dress, the only thing people might notice is the colour of your shoes - not how high or low the heels are. Do yourself a favour and choose a heel height that is truly comfortable for you.
If you will be dancing at your reception and your wedding shoes are of an inappropriate style to allow you to move easily, organise another pair of shoes to be waiting for you at the reception. OK, you probably will prefer to avoid a pair of sensible trainers, but don't let something as silly as shoe style prevent you from salsa-ing the night away in comfort.
