AUTHOR BIOG:
Gill James has published several collections of teaching materials, which emphasise the students' control of their own language learning. She has worked for 25 years teaching modern languages both in schools and as a private tutor to adults of all ages. It was in the course of offering private tuition that she discovered the way, outlined in this book, of making the learning of languages more effective. This has also led to the formation of Gill's language school, Bridge House Languages, which works on these principles.
