The British Chambers of Commerce
The Member Chambers of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) are subject to tough accreditation criteria to ensure that they offer the very best in business support. Membership of an individual Chamber can, however, be expensive and the actual cost is defined by the size of your business. The BCC do offer a number of services to members quite apart from campaigning on behalf of members in both local and central government concerns.

Information and advice on all aspects of running a business is available. The individual Chambers organise a number of networking events and conferences throughout the year.
Training
Collectively, the British Chambers of Commerce are the largest single provider of training in the UK , delivering in excess of 7,500 courses each year for over 110,000 people from businesses of all sizes.
Export Assistance
The individual Chambers operate schemes to assist with export opportunities and can offer help with arranging attendance at trade missions and fairs throughout the world. They also provide a range of international trade services. These include:

- advice and information on the shipment of goods
- methods of obtaining payment
- how to issue the correct export documentation.
